Outlook desktop client Phish Alert reporting button


A user can report any email as a phishing email. The reported email will be in the users' Sent Items as a forwarded message and will be deleted from the user's inbox. If the user incorrectly reported the email, they can retrieve it from their Deleted items/Trash.



In the Outlook desktop client on a City Domain computer, in the Toolbar "Ribbon" you should see a the Phish Alert reporting button (PAB) as shown below.


Select the suspected Phishing email, and then click the Phish Alert Reporting button.  You will be prompted to confirm that you wish to report the email.  Click "Yes" to report it as a phishing email.



You will then get a message acknowledging that you submitted the message.
