When on the Files tab, you can choose Open in Sharepoint to open the web version of your Teams files:
This will open your default web browser, where you might need to log into your Office 365 account for the first time if you haven't done it before.
Once logged in, select Recycle bin from the left sidebar:
Once in the Recycle Bin, you can Restore or Delete any files there depending whether you need to recover them or not.
