Please Note:  If you are able to use a City-provided Mitel phone, please dial the 88200 and not 614-842-6335.

Our phone system has a robust system for conferencing. This guide will walk you through creating a single meeting with an expiration time, but there are plenty of options in the portal including a setting for recurring conference calls.

Access the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Interface

Click on the link below to take you to the login page for the Conferencing Portal:


From the login page

  1. Enter your MiCollab Username (firstname.lastname@worthington.org) and your current email/computer password.
  2. Click the "Login" button
Once, you log in, if your main window is displaying your voicemail, click on "Audio, Web and Video Conferencing" in the left navigation panel:


On the next page, select One-Time Conference:



On the One-Time Conference page, go ahead and give an identifiable name to your call, and select a start date and time for it along with the duration:


Notes:


  1. Always set a longer duration than the meeting is expected to go for so the call isn't terminated before intended.
  2. Leave Published unchecked as this will require you to enter an additional password.

Press OK to create your conference call.

Once created, you will get a summary of the options selected and how to join:


If you select the E-mail option, your Outlook desktop application or your browser will attempt to create a new email that you can send to the external and internal participants:

You are invited to join an audio and web conference.

Start Time: 3:00 AM US/Eastern Jun 6, 2019  (Duration: 1 hour)

To join the conference:

To join only the audio portion

-Optionally enter your personal ID: If desired, use the link above to create or look up your ID.

External callers will use our conference call external number: (614)842-6335 and will enter their unique code, included in the email.


Internal callers can join from their desk by calling 88200 and also entering the access code.


When participants join in the call, everybody will hear a beep alerting that someone else is in the conference room.




You can also monitor callers through the participants tab in the web portal and even add phone numbers of other ones to have the system call them directly:



They will be directly joined without the need of a password.


Note: For the Add a new participant option to show up, at least the conference leader or any other participant needs to have joined the call.
