You have two options in forwarding:

  1. Forward all calls. Your desk phone will not ring.  Recommended for if you will not be at your desk.
  2. Forward busy/unswered calls.  Your desk phone will still ring.  Recommended if you will occasionally be at your desk and still want to be able to answer on your desk phone.


To enable forwarding of all calls:

  1. Press the Settings (Gear) button, right above the Volume Up/Down button on the lower-left part of your phone keypad.
  2. Press the large, silver directional button left.  The center of the screen should say Call Forward.
  3. Press the lower-left softkey below the word Select.
  4. The default is 88100, which is voicemail.  Use the softkey below the word Backspace to blank out the line.
  5. Using the dial pad, enter your cell phone number, in the following format:  916145550212.  The 9 is required to dial out, and the 1614 (or whatever area code) is also required.
  6. Press right on the silver directional button.
  7. Press the center of the silver directional button, which will place a check in the checkbox to the right of your phone number.
  8. Press the lower-left softkey below the word Save.


Your screen should look similar to this, but with your phone number:


While forwarding is enabled, you will see a call forward icon on your Line 2 display.  Also, when you pick up the phone, you will hear a stuttering dial tone as a reminder.


To disable forwarding of all calls:

  1. Press the Settings (Gear) button, right above the Volume Up/Down button on the lower-left part of your phone keypad.
  2. Press the large, silver directional button left.  The center of the screen should say Call Forward.
  3. Press the lower-left softkey below the word Select.
  4. Press right on the silver directional button.
  5. Press the center of the silver directional button, which will remove the check from the checkbox to right of your phone number.
  6. Press the lower-left softkey below the word Save.





To enable forwarding of busy/unanswered calls:


  1. Familiarize yourself withe the instructions above for forwarding all calls, but with the following changes:
    1. Do not check the box to the right of Always.  Instead, after entering your number next to Always, press the Copy to all? soft key.  It will copy the phone number to the 4 lines below.
    2. Put a check mark in the box for each of the 4 lines (Busy Internal, Busy External, No Answer Internal, No Answer External).

To disable forwarding of busy/unanswered calls:

  1. Follow the same basic instructions above for disabling forwarding of all calls, but instead remove the check marks next to the 4 lower lines.
